The Furuno SC70 is a high-accuracy Satellite Compass designed for small to medium boats. It utilizes GPS, Galileo, and GLONASS satellite systems for precise heading and continuous coverage. It provides data for GPS Positioning, Speed Over Ground (SOG), Course Over Ground (COG), Rate Of Turn (ROT), and 3-axis speed, which assists in critical maneuvers like berthing. The SC70 is maintenance-free, has a rapid follow-up rate of 40°/s, and a super short starting time of 90 seconds. It can be easily integrated into existing shipboard networks via Ethernet. It is IMO Type-approved as THD, GPS, and ROTI, complying with IEC/ISO requirements.
