SB 347 Street Strip Rotating Assembly

The Eagle 16040 SB Ford 347 Street Strip Rotating Assembly is engineered for engine builds aiming for up to 500 horsepower, making it suitable for pump gas applications. This kit includes a robust Eagle cast steel crankshaft with a 3.400-inch stroke, paired with Eagle forged 5.400-inch I-beam rods featuring 3/8" ARP 8740 rod bolts for enhanced durability. The assembly utilizes Mahle 4032 forged pistons with a -16cc dish, designed to work with a performance ring set. It comes complete with performance rod and main bearings, and is configured for a 1 or 2-piece rear main seal. This particular kit is unbalanced and intended for external (28 oz-in) balance. The compression ratio is approximately 9.3:1 with 58cc heads and 8.8:1 with 64cc heads. Optional balanced assembly upgrades are available, which include a new harmonic balancer and a choice of a 157 or 164-tooth flexplate for automatic transmissions, or a 157 or 164-tooth flywheel for manual transmissions. The bore size can be selected as .030 (347ci), .040 (349ci), or .125 (364ci).
