This Meziere reservoir pump is an innovative solution for difficult-to-fill cooling systems, particularly in dragsters where the radiator is positioned flat (either in front of the driver or over the transmission). It also proves beneficial in some kit car applications and other situations where radiator access is limited. The integrated surge tank facilitates easy filling and acts as an an air separator, preventing air locking and cavitation. The standard 42 GPM pump is suitable for normally aspirated engines up to 650 HP. For supercharged, turbocharged, and high compression/horsepower applications, the 55 GPM High Flow pump is recommended. This specific model does not accept heater or bypass hoses as standard.
