SB10-HDSS Performance Street Sprung Clutch Kit

The Advanced Clutch Technology SB10-HDSS is a Heavy Duty Performance Street Disc Clutch Kit, featuring ACT's most popular Heavy Duty pressure plate and street disc. This kit is engineered to increase clamp load by 20 to 50 percent over OEM, thereby significantly increasing torque capacity to a rated 515 ft-lbs. Constructed with premium organic friction materials that have high copper content for superior heat transfer and steel-backed lining for enhanced burst strength and durability, the SB10-HDSS offers longer friction life and improved release mechanism life. The pressure plate features precision cover stampings for rigidity and consistency, while the entire assembly is dynamically computer balanced for smooth operation at high RPMs. It provides a light to moderate pedal effort with smooth, positive engagement and minimal gear rattle, suitable for both street and race applications. This kit includes ACT's patented Monoloc, a one-piece replacement for traditional two-piece wedge collar and wire ring systems in pull-type clutches. The Monoloc ensures uniform loading on the bearing and pressure plate for proper alignment, constructed from hardened chrome-moly steel for long service life. Applications include the 2004-2021 Subaru WRX STI and the 2007-2009 Subaru Legacy GT spec.B, specifically for 6-speed applications only. It is mandatory to use an ACT or factory flywheel for 2004 and newer WRX STI models.
