SBC 383 Crate Engine 445HP

This power adder engine is engineered for forced induction (nitrous, superchargers, or turbos). This long block provides strength and reliability for boosted applications. It features a BluePrint Engines High Strength Cast Iron Block, manufactured and machined in the USA, drilled and tapped for clutch linkage, with a passenger side dipstick, 1-piece rear main seal, and 4-bolt mains.

Key features include a BluePrint Engines High Strength Cast Iron Block with 4.000" bore, 4-bolt main, 1-piece rear main seal, passenger side dipstick, and mechanical fuel pump provision. The rotating assembly consists of a BluePrint Forged Crankshaft with a 3.750" stroke, Forged I-beam 5.700" Connecting Rods, and Forged Pistons. The engine is internally balanced at the front and externally balanced at the rear.

The engine is equipped with BluePrint Engines Aluminum Heads - H8002K, featuring a 64cc chamber, 2.02" intake / 1.60" exhaust valves, 195cc intake / 75cc exhaust runners. It utilizes a Hydraulic Roller Cam with .536 Intake / .555 Exhaust Lift, 224 Intake / 236 Exhaust Duration @ .050-113 Degree Lobe Separation. It includes a dual keyway crank, Valve Covers (BPP9518), Harmonic Balancer, Timing Cover, and Oil Pan.

This engine is not designed for EGR systems. The performance aluminum cylinder heads feature a .500 raised port compared to OEM specifications. Mathematically, with a 3.75-inch stroke, it yields 377 CID.
