SBC 4340 Forged Compstar Crank 3.500 Stroke

The Callies Performance Products Compstar Comet is a lightweight crankshaft designed for Small Block Chevy engines. It is produced from 4340 forged steel, triple heat-treated, and nitrided for durability. Key features include gun-drilled mains, lightened rods, pendulum-cut counterweights, and a star flange. All journals are polished to a fine finish and sized to within .0003 inch or less. The Comets are designed with .125 journal radii and require performance-grade bearing inserts. They are currently available with 350 mains. This crankshaft is internally balanced and designed for a 2-piece rear main seal. Its lightweight design (less than 43 pounds, depending on stroke) contributes to performance.
