Dart Big Block Chevy blocks come in several configurations, including MRKIV, SS 396, GenV, GenVI, GenVII 8.1L, Big M, and Big M Sportsman. They offer true priority main oiling, various deck heights (9.800" or 10.200"), and bore options (4.250", 4.500", 4.560", 4.600"). Available with ductile iron or billet steel main caps. The Big M Pro Iron Blocks have deck options from 9.600” to 11.100” or custom heights, raised cam location +.600” clears stroker crankshafts, and oil pan rails are spread .750”. The Big M Aluminum Race Series is cast from RMR Cast Aluminum alloy for superior strength and integrity, with standard 9.800” or 10.200” deck heights/options to 10.400”, raised camshaft location +.400” clears stroker crankshafts, ductile iron sleeves with extra thick cylinder walls, and reinforcing ribs.
