SBC ALUMINUM BLOCK LS NEXT GEN II FULLY SKIRTED 9.240IN DECK 4.125IN CLE

Dart LS Next 2 Aluminum Block, a race engine block and the ultimate strength upgrade for the Aluminum LS Next platform. It features Dart's priority main oiling system and provisions for a stock oil filter. This block addresses windage and oil control with conventional main caps/oil pans and LS rotating assemblies. Cylinder barrels are extended 0.375 inches at the bottom. It includes extra thick decks for superior head gasket seal and blind 1/2-inch head bolt holes for enhanced strength. Scalloped water jackets increase flow and improve cooling. Clearance is provided for a 4.100-inch stroke with steel rods and center counterweighted crankshafts. It utilizes 1/2-inch main studs, with 4 splayed outer bolts on the middle main bearing caps. The block features LS style motor mounts, stock diameter 0.842 lifters, and provisions for OE stock roller lifters and cam. It is compatible with stock timing/rear covers and includes all OE bolt holes for components like the starter and water pump. A parts kit (Part# 32000035) is included, but cam bearings are not.
