This High Energy 260H Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshaft & Lifter Kit is designed for Small Block Chevy 262-400 (1955-1998) engines. It provides a good idle and strong mid-range torque, suitable for vans, pickups, 4WD, and towing in 350ci applications. It works well with mainly stock components and is a good choice for performance rebuilds. For 1955-57 265ci blocks, machining a small groove in the rear main journal is necessary for oil flow. It is 50-State Legal for 1987 & earlier carbureted V-8 Small Block Chevy 262-400 C.A.R.B. E.O. #D-279-3, D-279-5, D-279-6.
