Description

The Compstar Comet is a lightweight crankshaft forged from high-grade 4340 steel, triple heat-treated, and nitrided for durability. It features gun-drilled mains, lightened rods, pendulum-cut counterweights, and a star flange. All journals are polished to 5Ra or finer, matched-sized to within .0003 inch, and have .125" radii, requiring performance-grade bearing inserts. It's internally balanced and designed for 6.000" or longer connecting rods. Available with 350 mains.
