The standard-duty Hedman Hedders in this section come from the factory with an extremely durable, protective ceramic-metallic coating. Hedman Hedders, pioneered the use of ceramic-metallic coatings, back in the early 80's. Previously used exclusively in the aerospace industry, Hedman Hedders recognized it's potential for improving both the lifespan, and functionality of exhaust Hedders. Hedman's Standard-duty, Uncoated Hedders are manufactured using 18 gauge, mandrel bent primary tubes (some models built using thicker 16 or 14 gauge tubing), and 1/4 flanges (some models use 3/8" flanges). Hedman Hedders has been manufacturing quality headers and exhaust components in the USA since 1954.
