Description

The Dart Iron Eagle block is an ideal starting point for a high-displacement Small Block Chevy (SBC) project, capable of building up to a 455ci small block. Designed for racing applications, it features steel 4-bolt main bearing caps, relocated oil pan rails (spread .400), dual starter mount, side and front engine mounts, a raised camshaft (4.912), optional big block camshaft bearings, and a 2-piece rear main seal snout. Dart Blocks include coated cam bearings, freeze plugs, and dowels.
