Overview
Designed for engines originally equipped with flat tappet camshafts, the Thumpr camshaft utilizes a lobe profile with early exhaust valve opening, long exhaust duration, and significant overlap to achieve its signature rough idle. It operates effectively in the 2200-5900 RPM range and is compatible with engines requiring 9:1 compression and a 2500+ stall torque converter, along with intake, gears, and headers.

WARNING: Camshaft Optimized for use with a Melanized or Nitrided distributor Gear. Not compatible with cast or Steel Gears without similar surface treatments. Failure to utilize the proper distributor Gear will void all warranties and/or return policies.
