This BluePrint Engines high-strength cast iron block engine features increased deck thickness and strength webbing, priority main oiling, 4-bolt main, 1-piece rear main seal, and an improved water jacket design. The rotating assembly includes a cast crank, 3.000" stroke, OEM type 5.090" connecting rods, hypereutectic pistons, and is 50oz externally balanced front and rear. It comes with BluePrint aluminum cylinder heads (HP9008) with 60cc chambers, 2.02" intake / 1.60" exhaust valves, and 190cc intake / 60cc exhaust runners. The hydraulic roller cam specs are .533 intake / .544 exhaust lift, 215 intake / 220 exhaust duration @.050 - 114-degree lobe separation. Ignition timing is 10-16 degrees initial, 32-34 total. Also included are a Holley 600 CFM Street Warrior Carburetor (BPP080457SA), front sump oil pan, intake manifold, distributor, harmonic balancer, valve covers, and timing cover. This engine is an excellent cruiser and daily driver, making up to 13-16 inches of vacuum, and is designed to work well with power brakes, stock torque converters, stock gearing, and 87 octane fuel. Engine timing cover is designed for standard rotation water pump and pulley kit ONLY. Every engine is dyno tested and certified before shipment.
