The Cobra SC Series Dash Cam Hardware Kit provides a reliable solution for powering your dashcam directly from your vehicle's fuse box, ensuring uninterrupted operation. This kit enables "Smart Parking Detection," allowing your dashcam to monitor while your vehicle is turned off. For added protection, it features low-voltage cutoff at 12.2V (+0.25V), ensuring your vehicle can still start. The kit includes a 15ft USB-C cable, with 9ft from the DC converter to the USB-C plug, and comes with a Micro-USB adapter to ensure compatibility with all SC Series Cobra Dash Cams. The technical specifications include an input of DC 12/24V and an output of DC 5V / 2.5A. An auto-shutoff setting can be configured in the software to set parking monitoring limits, further safeguarding against battery drain. Cobra recommends this hardware kit for customers experienced with vehicle wiring or for installation by a local professional.
