The calipers are precision-machined from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, offering exceptional lightweight strength and corrosion resistance. Their one-piece forged construction ensures uniform thickness and rigidity. Inside, aluminum pistons provide superior heat resistance, maintaining performance under demanding conditions. Further enhancing performance, the Supercomp kits feature standard two-piece floating rotor designs. The floating outer section allows for slight adjustments, improving self-centering within the caliper, reducing brake drag, and ensuring more consistent pad application. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors: cross-drilled are recommended for daily drivers due to cooler running temperatures, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use to expel gas and debris more effectively. The system is completed with D.O.T. compliant stainless steel braided brake lines that prevent hose expansion under pressure, leading to a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. Custom caliper color options are available, ranging from standard painted finishes to premium high-polish and custom color choices.
