SC5 Big Brake Kit

This sophisticated, bolt-on system builds upon Ksport's Procomp kit by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with an increased number of pistons for enhanced performance. The calipers are crafted from a solid billet of aerospace-quality aluminum, utilizing a one-piece forged construction that ensures exceptional strength, lightweight characteristics, and resistance to corrosion. The kit features an advanced floating two-piece rotor design, allowing the outer section to self-center for reduced brake drag and more consistent application. Standard on all Supercomp systems are Drilled or Slotted rotors, with Drilled recommended for daily drivers due to cooler operation. Included with the kit are SC5 NAOC Ceramic pads, designed to provide optimal braking performance for street use and occasional track days. These pads offer a significant reduction in brake dust (over 50%) and minimize noise and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. Additionally, D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, which prevent expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with an estimated production and delivery time of 4-6 weeks.
