Show original supplier description
The Ksport Procomp 8 Piston Big Brake Kit is engineered to provide superior stopping power, especially under sustained high-heat conditions. Its calipers are constructed from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, offering a balance of lightweight design and robust strength. The inclusion of aluminum pistons enhances heat resistance and ensures consistent operation. This kit features two-piece, 14-inch slotted rotors designed for fade-free performance and effective grip, suitable for both track and street use. The caliper brackets are CNC machined from carbon steel, facilitating a direct bolt-on installation to the OEM caliper bracket location. The package also includes DOT-compliant stainless steel braided brake lines, which reduce line expansion under pressure for a quicker pedal response and firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. The standard SC5 Street brake pads are designed for optimal braking in street and occasional track conditions, minimizing brake dust and noise. The kit comes with all necessary mounting components and hardware. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with production and delivery typically taking 4-6 weeks.
