This sophisticated system builds upon the Procomp kit with larger calipers, rotors, and pads, an increased piston count, and standard full-floating rotors that enhance self-centering and reduce drag for improved performance. Constructed from a one-piece billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, the calipers boast exceptional lightweight strength and corrosion resistance. Complementing the calipers are CNC-machined carbon steel brackets that facilitate easy installation onto your OEM caliper bracket locations. The floating two-piece rotor design allows for slight outer section movement, promoting better self-centering within the caliper for reduced brake drag and more consistent application. Included with the kit are NAOC Ceramic SC5 Street Pads, which deliver optimal braking performance for street use and occasional track days. These pads offer a significant reduction in brake dust (over 50% compared to race pads), noise, and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. The kit also features D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which resist expansion under pressure for a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. You can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors: cross-drilled rotors run cooler and are recommended for daily drivers, while slotted rotors are advised for track-focused vehicles.
