SC7160-4 Forged Piston Set

The CP Pistons SC7160-4 piston and ring set is engineered for high-performance applications in Honda S2000 F20C and F22C engines (2000-2009). Constructed from high-strength aluminum forgings, these pistons feature a super lightweight design and are fully CNC machined and balanced to within +/- 1 gram for optimal engine operation. They are compatible with oversized valves and high-lift camshafts. Key features include accumulator grooves, double pin oilers for force-fed lubrication, and pick lock grooves for easy lock removal. The bore size is 87mm, and these are standard size (STD) pistons with a compression ratio of 11.0:1 for the F20C engine. CP Pistons are compatible with oversized valves and high-lift camshafts. The "X" style forging offers additional strength, durability, and weight reduction. Pistons can be further customized with options like gas ports, skirt coating, ceramic top coating, and stronger wrist pins if desired. Important notes for installation: CP Pistons are sold individually; 4-cylinder engines will require a quantity of four. OEM rings will not fit these pistons; a specific CP ring set is required.
