The Schmiedmann SCM3436 is a new, S-Tech sport manifold engineered for M50/M52 engines, designed to be one of the most effective on the market. It is constructed from 100% stainless steel, featuring a mild steel flange for durability. The manifold includes adapter pipes, gaskets, and other necessary components for a complete installation. Key dimensions for this sport manifold include a port height of 35MM and a width of 50MM at the cylinder head, with piping at the flange measuring 46MM. The guiding mount time is estimated between 3.5 to 4.5 hours. The product weighs 9.00 KG and has package dimensions of 48x33x21 cm. It fits a comprehensive list of BMW models with both automatic and manual transmissions: E36 Convertible (320i M50/M52, 323i M52, 325i M50, 328i M52), E36 Coupé (320i M50/M52, 323i M52, 325i M50, 328i M52), E36 Sedan (320i M50/M52, 323i M52, 325i M50, 328i M52), E36 Touring (320i M52, 323i M52, 328i M52), E34 Sedan (520i M50, 525i M50), E34 Touring (520i M50, 525i M50), E39 Sedan (520i M52 -09/98, 523i M52 -09/98, 528i M52 -09/98), E39 Touring (520i M52 -09/98, 523i M52 -09/98, 528i M52 -09/98), and Z3 E36 (Coupé Z3 2.8 M52, Roadster Z3 2.0 M52, Z3 2.5 M52, Z3 2.8 M52). Installation requires cutting off a part of the pipes on the catalyst and welding the new adapter pipes on. The product comes without TÜV/Not E-approved unless purchased from Schmiedmann Flensburg or schmiedmann.de. Stud bolts (part number 11-12-7-593-376) are recommended for easier installation. Professional installation by a BMW specialized workshop is highly recommended.
