The Scotch-Brite Surface Conditioning Belt is a durable belt engineered for detail work such as blending, cleaning, contour finishing, deburring, and achieving straight-line brushed finishes on various metals. It effectively removes coarse grind lines, mill marks, and small burrs. These belts are versatile and can be used on different belt sanding tools for various applications on wood and metal. They are also ideal for robotic finishing due to their conformability and consistent results. 3M offers a broad selection of belts to fit most industrial belt sanders. This particular belt is made with aluminum oxide abrasive mineral, which is a hard, blocky mineral providing a high cut-rate and long life. Belt sanders offer an alternative to sanding wheels and discs, as they are less prone to clogging.
