This kit is an adapter to install a Chevrolet V8 engine (1985 & earlier, internally balanced) into an International Harvester Scout vehicle equipped with a 727 Torqueflite 3-speed automatic transmission, replacing the stock IH 304 V8 or 345 V8 engine. Not compatible with a small block 400.
