Overview

The Prima throttle grip set is a black, scrambler-style handlebar grip designed for 7/8" handlebars. These grips are made in Taiwan and are recommended for use with lubricating grease or WD-40 on the throttle cable for smoother operation. The set includes a left grip (121.2mm length) and a right grip (117.5mm length).

The Prima throttle grip set offers a scrambler-style aesthetic in black, designed to fit universal 7/8" (22mm) handlebars. These grips are presented as being of the absolute best quality available for their price point. The set includes a left grip measuring 121.2mm (4.7") with an inner diameter of 21.2mm and an outer diameter ranging from 35mm to 48.56mm, and a right grip measuring 117.5mm (4.6") with an inner diameter of 31mm and an outer diameter ranging from 36.2mm to 51.4mm. They are manufactured in Taiwan. For optimal performance and to ease installation, it is recommended to lubricate the throttle cable with grease, oil, or WD-40. This not only aids in installation but also helps reduce friction and wear on the cable and its sleeve. Installation can be further facilitated by using hairspray to help the rubber grips slide onto the handlebar and throttle sleeve, allowing them to tack dry in minutes for usage within 10-15 minutes. Alternatively, an air-compressor wedge can be used to create a small air pocket, enabling the grips to slide on or off without chemicals. These grips are compatible with a wide range of models, including Genuine G400c, 139QMB, GY6 (125/150cc+), GET (49/50cc+), Honda CB 350/360/400/455, Honda Ruckus, Kawasaki KZ400/KZ440, Zuma, Rattler, Yamaha SR400/SR500, and virtually any other scooter with 7/8" handlebars.
