Description

The Canton Racing Products 20-930 is a screen windage tray specifically engineered for Ford 289-302 engines equipped with a rear sump oil pan setup. Manufactured in the USA, this windage tray functions by preventing oil from sloshing out of the sump and into the rotating assembly. This is particularly important during aggressive driving, cornering, or braking, where excess oil movement can lead to reduced lubrication effectiveness and potential damage. By keeping the oil contained within the sump, it ensures consistent oil pick-up and maintains optimal oil pressure. Installation of this windage tray requires mounting hardware, which is not included with the product but is recommended to be purchased separately. Canton Racing Products suggests their 20-940 Windage Tray Mounting Kit and 20-941 Windage Tray Stud Kit for a complete and secure installation.
