The SCT X4 handheld tuner is engineered to enhance the performance of select 2021-2023 Ford F-150 5.0L V8 and 2021-2023 Bronco 2.7L EcoBoost models. This device facilitates the installation of performance tunes, which can optimize fuel curves, ignition timing, boost pressure, and transmission function to deliver increased horsepower and torque without requiring physical modifications. The X4 tuner is designed for ease of use and portability, featuring a compact form factor and an intuitive interface. Beyond tuning, it offers functionality to read and clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), datalog vehicle performance information, and monitor real-time parameters on its display. The device has the capacity to store up to 10 custom tunes from SCT's network of tuning partners. Before tuning, the PCM (Powertrain Control Module) must be unlocked using the included PCM unlock cable. This tuner is sold as a device only and does not come with preloaded tunes; custom tuning services from an SCT tuner are required at an additional cost after the PCM unlock and data download. The X4 tuner is designed to retain all factory emissions control components, such as catalytic converters and oxygen sensors, and does not permit their deletion. It is important to note that this device does not currently support 2024 models, and support for Bronco 2.7L EcoBoost models was stated as coming soon at the time of this listing.
