Simpson's lightest and most aerodynamic helmet, the SD1, is a premium helmet at a reasonable price, tailored for open-wheel dirt track racing. It is Snell SA2020-certified and broadly accepted by race organizing bodies and tracks through 2030. Key features include a new aerodynamic design, removable cheekpads and top pads for custom fit, gel earcups, compatibility with Simpson communication kits, front chin spoiler for stability, and top/rear vents for ventilation.
