Description

Simpson's lightest and most aerodynamic helmet, the SD1 is a premium helmet tailored towards open wheel dirt track racing with no front vents and a front chin spoiler. It is SA2020 Certified and available in composite and autoclave cured carbon fiber. It features removable cheekpads (sizes range from .75" to 1.375") and top pads (sizes range from .25" to .625") for a custom fit. It includes removable gel earcups and is compatible with all Simpson communication kits. It comes standard with an anti-fog, anti-scratch visor, with other visor options available (clear, dark smoke, iridium, amber, and chrome). It is available in 2 shells and 6 sizes (XS-XXL). Helmets are hand-built to order in New Braunfels, TX.
