The Timken 717005 is a small bore inch oil seal. It features a nitrile (NBR) double lip construction with a garter spring for positive sealing. This design provides fluid retention and contamination exclusion, making it suitable for general industrial applications on pumps, motors, and gearboxes. The seal operates within a standard NBR temperature range of -40°F to +250°F.
