The Seastar Classic Tilt Helm Pump (HH6542-4) is a Gen4 hydraulic boat steering helm providing smooth, efficient, and no-feedback steering for inboard and outboard applications. It's suitable for high-performance hulls, center consoles, and cruisers. Features redesigned valve technology for tighter, quieter, and more responsive steering, minimizing chattering under overrunning loads. Includes more durable check valves for increased resilience, especially during trailering. Revamped design for improved aesthetics and a new fill port plug for easier maintenance. Direct replacement for Gen3 (-3) helms. Features pre-loaded dual taper bearings, 48 degrees of tilt articulation with 5 positive lock positions, a compact footprint, and is maintenance-free, fitting most styled and formed dashes.
