The Planted seat bracket acts as a critical adapter to bridge the gap between the irregular floor of a Nissan 370Z and an aftermarket seat. Each unit is laser-cut from 3/16-inch thick steel and hand-welded to provide a rigid, high-strength mounting base. Because factory floor pans vary, this bracket is specifically engineered for the 370Z to ensure a bolt-in fitment. The bracket is pre-slotted to accommodate sliders from major manufacturers, including Braum, Bride, Cipher Auto, Cobra, Corbeau, Momo, NRG, OMP, Racetech, Recaro, Sabelt, Scheel-Mann, Sparco, Status Racing, and Takata. It is available in a standard configuration or an alternate version for specific Cobra and Scheel-Mann sliders. If using Bride sliders, note that the 'feet' must be removed, and custom hole patterns may need to be drilled. Professional installation is recommended for this component. Note that replacing the factory seat may trigger airbag or weight sensor warning indicators, which the end user must address, potentially via an electronic resistor. Additionally, aftermarket seats may alter the seating position relative to the steering wheel, and users should verify seat fitment before purchase.
