Seat Bracket

The Planted seat bracket is a vehicle-specific base mount engineered to facilitate the installation of aftermarket seats in 2003-2008 Nissan 350Z models equipped with an automatic transmission. This passenger-side bracket is laser-cut from 3/16-inch thick steel and hand-welded to provide superior structural integrity, finished with a black powder coat for long-term corrosion resistance. The bracket is pre-slotted to accommodate sliders from various manufacturers such as Bride, Cobra, OMP, Racetech, Recaro, Sparco, and Status. For configurations where slider removal is preferred, the bracket includes additional material to allow for direct seat or side-mount setups. Users should note that installation may require drilling specific hole patterns for certain slider brands. Installation requires careful consideration of the vehicle's specific interior layout. Because the passenger-side floor of the 350Z features a transmission tunnel hump that differs between automatic and manual transmissions, this bracket is specifically designed for automatic models. It positions the seat on top of the floor hump. Compatibility is strictly limited to 2003-2008 Nissan 350Z automatic transmission models. Professional installation is recommended due to the technical nature of seat fitment. Replacing factory seats may trigger vehicle warning indicators related to airbag or weight sensors, which the user may need to address using electronic resistors. Additionally, aftermarket seats and brackets can cause steering wheel offset to feel more pronounced compared to factory settings.
