The Macht Schnell Motorsports Competition Lightweight Floor Mounts from MODE Auto Concepts are engineered for enthusiasts seeking to install racing seats in their BMW E46 3-Series and M3 models. These mounts are CAD designed and CNC machined from high-strength 6061-T6 aerospace aluminum, ensuring durability while minimizing weight. The design allows for multiple mounting positions, enabling drivers to achieve a precise and comfortable seating position that is perfectly centered to the steering wheel. The low-profile design accommodates slider brackets and provides ample helmet clearance for taller drivers. These floor mounts feature a black anodized finish for enhanced strength, corrosion resistance, and wear resistance. Additional provisions on the sides allow for the mounting of OEM seatbelt receptacles or race harnesses, though these brackets are sold separately. The mounts are compatible with Recaro and most other aftermarket race seats, and can be used on either the driver or passenger side; they are sold as a set for one seat. Macht Schnell specifically recommends RECARO or Sabelt racing seats for optimal quality and craftsmanship. These floor mounts are compatible with 1999-2006 E46 3-Series and M3 models, excluding convertible variants.
