Seat Rail Lowering Brackets

The Jass Performance Seat Lowering Brackets are engineered to enhance interior comfort for Mazda MX-5 NC models, specifically addressing headroom limitations for taller drivers. While the NC generation is roomier than previous models, it can still feel restrictive for those over 6 feet tall. These brackets provide a solution by allowing the seat to be lowered by approximately 4 cm (1.5 inches), significantly increasing available headroom and creating a more comfortable driving position. Crafted with computer-stress-calculated designs for crash safety and weight optimization, these brackets ensure structural integrity without adding unnecessary bulk. The installation process requires modifying the OEM seat rails and removing a small portion of the floor sound deadening. It is important to note that these brackets are compatible with height-adjustable seats and do not lower the seat beyond the level of non-height-adjustable seats found in early NC models. For NCFL models, if both seats require lowering, it may be necessary to order these brackets for the height-adjustable seat (typically driver's side) and a separate version for the non-height-adjustable passenger seat.
