The Healtech STV Secondary Throttle Emulator STVE-08 addresses a common failure point in motorcycle secondary throttle valve actuators (STVA). When the STVA fails, it often necessitates replacing the entire throttle body, a costly repair. This emulator provides a cost-effective solution by directly connecting to the ECU's STVA and STPS pins. By emulating the correct signals, the STVE-08 prevents the ECU from detecting faults related to the absence of the STVA or an incorrect signal from the secondary throttle valve position sensor. This not only resolves the error codes but also allows for the removal of the secondary throttle valves and servomotor, which some riders believe can also increase performance.
