Overview

The Supersprint Section 1 Pipes are T304 stainless steel straight pipes designed as part of a racing exhaust system to reduce restrictions. These pipes connect to stock or Supersprint headers and Supersprint section 2.

Installation on E9X models requires Supersprint connecting pipes, part number 789022. This section 1 pipe is longer than the stock equivalent and may require cutting to fit, using a factory BMW sleeve clamp (or similar 55mm clamp, BMW #18307560778). This part alters or deletes emissions equipment, requiring a signed emissions compliance waiver.

Constructed from premium T304 stainless steel, these pipes are built for long-term durability and corrosion resistance. They are designed to connect to either stock or Supersprint headers and are intended to mate with Supersprint section 2 components. The "European" sound profile is characteristic of Supersprint's sporting sophistication for BMW vehicles. Fitment details indicate that for E9X models, Supersprint connecting pipes (p/n 789022) are required to connect to section 2. A crucial fitment note specifies that these Supersprint section 1 pipes are longer than the stock ones. Modification, specifically cutting the Supersprint pipe, may be necessary for stock exhaust system compatibility. A factory BMW sleeve clamp (or a similar 55mm clamp, BMW #18307560778) must be used for installation. Important considerations include that this part alters or deletes emissions equipment. Consequently, a waiver of emissions compliance must be signed and submitted to Turner Motorsport.
