The Supersprint Section 2 X-Pipe is a resonator delete component designed for the BMW E60 M5. This exhaust part is crafted from T304 stainless steel to provide increased volume and a deeper growl from the exhaust. By removing the resonators, it also decreases exhaust restriction, potentially leading to slight improvements in power and torque. The X-Pipe fits into section 2 of the exhaust system, located after the secondary catalytic converters and before the rear mufflers.

The Supersprint Section 2 X-Pipe is a direct-fit resonator delete designed to enhance the exhaust system of the BMW E60 M5. This component replaces the factory resonators located ahead of the rear mufflers, aiming to increase exhaust volume and produce a more aggressive growl. By eliminating these resonators, the exhaust flow is less restricted, which can contribute to minor gains in power and torque. It is designed to fit into section 2 of the exhaust system, connecting to the stock secondary catalytic converters at the front and any compatible rear mufflers at the rear. The installation involves cutting out the original resonator section and clamping the Supersprint X-pipe into place. Note that rear clamps are not included and may need to be purchased separately if not using Supersprint rear mufflers.
