The Parannic 12+8 Connector is a security bypass cable designed for FCA vehicles. It bypasses the Security Gateway Module (SGM) which typically limits aftermarket scan tools to reading DTCs and viewing data.

This adapter allows for full bidirectional control and advanced diagnostics on newer FCA models that are equipped with the SGM. It is compatible with various Autel diagnostic tools, including the DS808, Maxisys MS905, MS906, MS906BT, MS906S, MS908, MS908S Pro, and Maxisys Elite.

The Parannic SGW Bypass 12+8 Connector is an essential tool for modern automotive diagnostics on FCA vehicles. Many 2018 and newer Chrysler, Dodge, Ram, Jeep, and Fiat models are equipped with a Security Gateway Module (SGM). This module restricts aftermarket diagnostic tools, limiting them to basic functions like reading Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and viewing data. This Chrysler 12+8 Adapter effectively bypasses the SGM, granting full access for bidirectional controls, ECU coding, services, and OE-level diagnosis. It is designed to work seamlessly with a wide range of Autel diagnostic scanners, including the Autel DS808, Maxisys MS905, MS906, MS906BT, MS906S, MS908, MS908S Pro, and Maxisys Elite. The adapter enables communication with the latest FCA vehicle models. It is necessary for vehicles such as the 2013+ RAM Promaster, 2015+ Fiat 500x, 2015+ RAM Promaster City, 2016+ Jeep Renegade, 2017+ Alfa Romeo Giulia, 2017+ Jeep Compass, 2017+ Jeep Cherokee, and all 2018+ Dodge, Jeep, Chrysler, and Ram vehicles, including the 2018+ Jeep Wrangler (JL Body only, not JK). It is also compatible with most Fiat/Chrysler/Jeep/Ram vehicles from 2019 onwards and all FCA vehicles from 2020.
