SENSA-TRAC SHOCK ABSORBER

The Monroe OESpectrum 5870 is a rear shock absorber designed to provide handling precision and control while minimizing ride harshness. It features Tenneco's "Twin Technology Active Control System," incorporating an impact control valve for all-condition control and a low-speed tenability piston to isolate noise and vibration.

This shock absorber includes all-weather fluid for smooth rod reaction, rod-displaced valving tuned for each application, and a Fluon-banded piston for consistent sealing and durability. It also has a hardened chrome-plated piston rod for a long service life and is nitrogen gas charged to improve ride and handling by maintaining tire-to-road contact.
