The Traxxas Temperature & Voltage Telemetry Sensor (Short) is an optional accessory for monitoring critical performance data. Temperature data helps gauge the effects of changes and prevent overheating, with the sensor installed on the motor, engine, speed control, battery, or exhaust pipe.

Voltage measurement is also crucial, especially for nitro vehicles' on-board batteries. For electric vehicles, a Power Tap Connector is used to monitor receiver battery pack voltage, showing voltage drop under acceleration and overall battery performance.
