Sequential LED Tail Light Kit

The Dapper Lighting Advanced Sequential LED Tail Light kit is a revolutionary upgrade for your 1979-1983 Datsun 280ZX, offering enhanced visibility and modern aesthetics. Utilizing custom 3D-printed mounts, this kit provides a direct retrofit without requiring any drilling or modification to your original tail light housings. This comprehensive kit replaces the functionality of traditional incandescent bulbs, providing illumination for running lights, brake lights, turn signals, emergency flashers, and backup lights (where applicable). It features a sophisticated, self-contained microprocessor and circuitry that enables up to 10 distinct sequential lighting patterns, an industry first, without the need for a separate control module. The LEDs offer increased brightness, superior reliability, and a longer lifespan compared to stock bulbs. For sequential patterns, a pink wire must be connected to +12 volt ignition power. A pushbutton switch on the panel allows selection and storage of preferred patterns, ensuring your chosen sequence is active each time the vehicle starts. Importantly, when the ignition is off, the tail light panels draw no power, preserving battery life. However, the running light and emergency flasher functions remain active even with the ignition off. The design also maintains the original waterproof sealing of the tail light housings, preventing condensation and corrosion. A Low Current Flasher Module must be installed in place of the traditional turn signal flasher module for correct LED operation.
