Sequential Shifter Conversion Kit

The S1 Sequential CD009/350Z/370z Sequential Shifter is a conversion kit engineered to transform compatible Nissan H-pattern gearboxes (CD001–CD009, CD00A, or JK series) into a sequential shifting system. The primary benefit of this sequential conversion is the enhanced driver control and accuracy. The push-back to upshift and push-forward to downshift motion drastically improves driver coordination under high-G loads, virtually eliminating the possibility of selecting the wrong gear. This prevents costly mistakes like missed shifts during races or engine-damaging downshifts. The shifter also provides precise mechanical feedback, allowing the driver to feel exactly when a gear engages, and features a mechanical reverse lockout for added safety and ease of use. Beyond the core functionality, the S1 Sequential shifter is built for bulletproof durability, specifically engineered to withstand the harsh loads of hard driving with synchro gearboxes. The basic kit includes the main shifter unit and shift knob. Numerous options and upgrades are available to customize the setup, including a Gear Position Sensor for data logging or gear-based boost control, a Digital Gear Indicator for a clear dash display, and a Shifter Surround to neatly seal the transmission tunnel opening. Additionally, various lever options like the Offset Lever, Direct High Lever, and High Linkage Lever allow for adjustment of the shift lever's position to suit different chassis and driving preferences. Modifications to the transmission tunnel may be necessary for clearance. For the 350Z/G35, the "Long" version aims for a similar lever position to the factory shifter but may still require minor interior trim adjustments. The manufacturer offers different variants based on gearbox type and cover plate bolt count (7-bolt or 8-bolt) to ensure compatibility with specific CD00X transmissions.
