The AEM Series 2 Plug & Play EMS is an advanced engine management system that provides complete engine control by directly integrating with a vehicle's factory ECU harness. This system eliminates the need for rewiring or additional hardware, utilizing all the factory sensors and including startup calibrations. The included AEMtuner software, compatible with Windows XP, Vista, and 7, offers infinite adjustability for programming engine control, power adders, and auxiliary devices, ensuring proper fuel delivery and ignition timing for any operating condition. Key features of the Series 2 EMS include electronic boost control, full idle control, programmable traction control, software-definable knock control, and a two-step launch control for optimized performance. It also offers user-configurable soft-cut rev limiters and support for wet or dry nitrous systems. For injector and ignition control, the system supports up to 12 peak and hold injector drivers and up to 8 direct-fire coil outputs, along with 16 general-purpose outputs and 8 definable switch inputs.
