The High Performance Diesel Series 2 Front Mount Intercooler Kit is engineered to boost torque and power for Mitsubishi Pajero NS, NT, and NW models (2008+). This kit is ideal for drivers seeking increased reliability during towing or touring by significantly lowering intake air temperatures, which in turn allows for a safe and sustainable increase in engine power and torque. The kit features a substantial Bar and Plate Core measuring 500x225x76mm, constructed with alloy mandrel-bent piping for optimal airflow. It includes quality silicone hoses and clamps, along with lasercut mounting brackets for a secure fit. Notably, the design is compatible with most aftermarket winch and bullbar setups, and the 57mmø intercooler piping has been optimized for enhanced response by shortening the length and reducing silicone joins. The Series 2 kit's intercooler is positioned higher than previous generations and runs piping through the radiator support panel. This front-mount design minimizes heat soak, a common issue with top-mounted or water-to-air intercoolers during low-speed, high-load driving. Installation is straightforward with basic workshop tools, and HPD offers support and a dealer network for professional installation if needed. The kit is designed to complement aftermarket turbo kits, improving overall 4WD performance, reliability, and fuel efficiency.
