Overview

The JLT Performance Series 2 Ram Air Intake Kit is designed for 2003-2004 Ford Mustang Mach 1 models. It features a black textured rotational molded plastic tube and a red high-performance air filter. This kit replaces the restrictive stock airbox to optimize airflow to the engine and integrates with the factory shaker hood scoop.

The kit includes the intake tube, throttle body elbow, silicone reducer, ABS heat shield, power stack air filter, MAF adapter, MAF adapter gasket, heavy-duty clamps, and all necessary mounting hardware. The 4-1/4" intake tubes are made from black textured plastic for heat resistance and to keep intake air cool.

The JLT Performance Series 2 Ram Air Intake Kit is specifically engineered to enhance the performance of 2003-2004 Ford Mustang Mach 1 models. This high-performance system replaces the restrictive factory airbox, facilitating a more robust airflow to the engine for improved efficiency and power. The intake tube is constructed from 4-1/4" rotational molded black textured plastic, chosen for its resistance to engine heat and its ability to maintain a cool intake air charge. The kit includes a red power stack air filter for enhanced airflow, a throttle body elbow, silicone reducer, ABS heat shield, MAF adapter with gasket, and heavy-duty clamps, along with all necessary mounting hardware. Installation is rated as moderate, requiring intermediate skill. This kit retains the use of the factory Shaker system. However, it is noted that the intake will not fit with most strut tower braces. The product is 50-state legal and carries the CARB E.O. Number D-761-2.
