The JLT Performance Series 2 Ram Air Intake Kit is designed for 1996-2004 GT Mustangs. It features a 4-inch ABS plastic tubing, roto-molded for optimal flow and to produce a cold charge. The kit includes a heat shield, S&B Powerstack air filter, silicone reducers, MAF adapter, and all necessary hardware.

The JLT Performance Series 2 Ram Air Intake Kit, part number RAI2-FMG-9604, is engineered for 1996-2004 GT Mustangs to enhance engine performance. This kit utilizes a 4-inch diameter ABS plastic tube, which is roto-molded to optimize airflow and deliver a colder air charge to the engine. By replacing the restrictive stock metal tubing, this intake system can potentially yield gains of 8-12 RWHP. The complete kit includes the JLT plastic intake tube, silicone reducers for the throttle body and MAF sensor, an ABS heat shield, a 4x9 S&B Powerstack air filter, a MAF adapter with gasket, and heavy-duty clamps, along with all other necessary hardware for installation. Installation is described as easy, requiring only novice skill. For 1996 through mid-2001 Mustangs, a grommet is included for the factory intake air temperature sensor, which will require drilling a hole in the plastic tube for installation. Note that 2005 and newer Mustangs require a computer reflash for a cold air intake, but this kit for older models does not require additional computer modifications. This intake is 50-state legal with CARB E.O. Number D-761-2. Important compatibility note: This intake kit will NOT fit with a Kenne Bell supercharger.
