The K&N Series 69 Typhoon Cold Air Intake is a performance air intake system designed to improve engine breathing. It features a free-flowing design and a non-restrictive air filter to provide the engine with more cold air, promoting more complete fuel combustion for increased power and torque.

Constructed with a high-strength aluminum alloy inlet tube that is fully mandrel-bent to minimize airflow turbulence, this intake includes a heat shield to protect the air filter from engine bay heat. It utilizes an oiled, high-performance air filter that offers maximum airflow while maintaining filtration and requires servicing only after 100,000 miles. The system installs directly into the factory air box location without modifications and comes with all necessary mounting hardware.

The K&N Series 69 Typhoon Cold Air Intake is a performance upgrade designed to allow your vehicle's engine to breathe better, resulting in increased power and torque. Its free-flowing design and non-restrictive, oiled air filter work together to supply the engine with a larger volume of cold air, which leads to more complete fuel combustion. It also incorporates a heat shield to insulate the oversized air filter from potentially damaging engine bay heat, thereby extending its service life. The high-performance oiled air filter is designed for low maintenance, requiring service after approximately 100,000 miles and is easily cleaned with mild soap and water, then re-oiled. Installation is straightforward, as the K&N Series 69 Typhoon Cold Air Intake is designed for direct fitment into the vehicle's factory air box location, requiring no modifications. All necessary mounting hardware is included for a convenient installation process, estimated to take about one hour. This cold air intake system is CARB-certified (EO Number D-269-76 for 2009-2018 models) and is street-legal in all 50 states. It is backed by an exclusive 10-Year/Million-Mile Limited Warranty against defects in workmanship and materials. The K&N Series 69 Typhoon Cold Air Intake fits all 2009-2023 5.7L HEMI Challenger models without the Shaker hood.
