Series 8000 24-Row Transmission Cooler Kit

The Derale Series 8000 is a 24-row plate and fin transmission cooler kit, designed to significantly extend transmission life and improve shifting performance. Unlike tube and fin coolers, this unit features robust furnace-brazed aluminum construction for durability. Its 7/8" wide plates and 3/4" embossed turbulators are engineered to maximize heat transfer efficiency while simultaneously minimizing pressure drop within the transmission fluid system. This transmission cooler is ideal for full-size cars, trucks, and SUVs that engage in medium to light-heavy duty use or consistent towing. It is rated for a 250 psi working pressure and a 300 psi burst strength, with a substantial fluid capacity of 8 oz. and a BTU cooling capacity of 23,000, making it suitable for demanding applications. The cooler's dimensions are 11" wide, 12" high, and 7/8" deep, with a mounting footprint of 6-3/4" x 10-1/2". The kit comes complete with all necessary transmission cooler hardware for installation, designed to easily connect to vehicles equipped with 5/16" transmission cooler lines. The 11/32" barb inlets and included 4' of hose provide flexibility during setup.
