The Treadstone TRV1859 Series Intercooler is engineered for high-horsepower applications, offering superb quality and highly efficient bar and plate construction. Its design ensures evenly distributed airflow and low-pressure drop, crucial for maximizing performance in turbocharged systems. Each unit is pressure checked to 150psi and comes with a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects. The intercooler boasts a core size of 18.48" x 9.00" x 3.50" and an overall size of 20" x 15.25" x 3.50", with 2.50" inlet and outlet ports. The longer 9" core length enhances cooling efficiency. Available options include opposite facing endtanks (designated by 'B' in the part number) or same-side endtanks, providing flexibility for various installation needs. Tabs are welded onto the intercooler for simplified mounting, similar to the BMV25 series. While designed for high HP applications such as Mustangs, Supras, and high HP Eclipse/Talons, users may experience a 2-6 PSI drop depending on the specific setup and application.
