The Monster Clutch S Series Triple Disc Clutch is engineered for high-performance Pontiac GTO applications, capable of handling up to 1150 RWHP/RWTQ. This clutch utilizes a modified GM LT1 based pressure plate assembly, optimizing lift/release and plate load for enhanced performance while maintaining factory pedal effort. This clutch is designed for serious racers, excelling in drag strip applications with numerous recorded 8-second passes, as well as road course, HPDE, and autocross events. Its design provides the benefits of a factory unit with the capacity for significant abuse and a clean release, even at up to 7000 RPM when used with GM factory-based hydraulics. The package includes a patent-pending CNC machined billet steel flywheel, balanced to less than 0.100 OZ/IN at no additional charge. It thrives on the street, providing smooth operation and factory driving characteristics, making stop-and-go traffic manageable. However, users are cautioned that if an aftermarket master cylinder with larger displacement is used, pedal effort may increase, and the engagement window may reduce. The base package includes the clutch assembly, slave cylinder, carbon organic based clutch discs, a 20lbs billet steel flywheel, pilot bearing, alignment tool, and hardware.
